Ephemeros: Eastern Ontario is a visual exploration of manufacturing demise in Eastern Ontario. Once the biggest employer and a critical ingredient in the area’s economic and social health, many of the communities have seen a seemingly endless line of traditional manufacturing jobs evaporate over the last decade or so. As we pass through the towns do we see the closed factories? Do we grasp what caused the loss? Do we recall the benefits they once provided?
