Ephemeros: Îles de la Madeleine

The Ephemeros – Îles de la Madeleine images consider the abandoned boats, farmhouses and objects found on those Canadian islands in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Settled between the mid 1760s and the early 1820s the agglomeration of these six islands, with a current population of some 12,300, has witnessed significant cycles of economic prosperity and poverty. The impact is reflected in various assets located throughout the islands; farms deserted, housing uninhibited, and boats, machinery, and other objects in disrepair.

All pieces are available for purchase, in signed and numbered limited editions. Prices vary with image size, media type, series, and edition # in the series. Images can be acquired mounted and framed, or unframed, in a variety of standard print sizes as well as in custom sizes.
